It’s been a long since you wrote a script for a movie. Why it took so long?

First of all I am not a writer. Most of my story’s scripting or dialogs are written by Srenivasan.  I wrote dialogs for the movies like Manivatharile Aayiram Sivarathrikal. After that why I didn’t write scripts is because there was lot of other people who are better than me. But when Viji Tampy came to me with story I felt that this will be safe in my hand and I wrote it

Can you brief the movie for our blog audience.

The movie all about the problems of posh lifestyle.The main characters in the story are Rakesh Menon and Sema Menon. Rakesh Menon is a successful business man and he live a posh lifestyle while his wife Sema Menon is an artist and she like  simple lifestyle. And at one point they had a problem and there relation is about to broke. My character comes into the movie at this point. Whenever he tries to help rakesh, another problem comes in. he is not a stupid but there is some stupidity comes with him. This is not complelty a comedy movie. It’s a family entertainer.

Tell us about the cast and crew of April Fool.

Cast and crew are very rich. No one needs an introduction to the director Viji Tamby. He is a well known director for his comedy and action. Both action and comedy are safe in his hands. Other people are Siddique, Lal, Jagathy Sreekumar etc. all are well established in the industry

The camera is done by the very talented and senior camera man Sanjeev Shankar. Our producer Santosh Damodar is a very talented man. He is very selective in producing good movies. The movie has two good songs written by Gireesh Putancheri and music by M Jayachandrean. Totally the film’s cast and the crew is rich with talented people

Is it your first film with Viji tamby?

Not at all. i worked more than 4 films with him. But it’s the first time I am writing a script for Viji Tampy.

What is your expectations  with with April Fool..

Well from the shooting to dubbing everyone said it’s a good movie. It’s a good movie with some very different stuff. That’s what everyone said. Yes it’s a different. We hope that our audience will receive the movie. We have good expectations

The lyrics of this movie are written by late lyrics Gireesh putancheri. And music is m Jayahcandran how many songs are in the movie?  About its music?

As I told you before there are 2 song. One song is for the hero. And another is for my character – krisnanunny. He is the one who thinks that a good singer and writer. But the true fact is that he steals most of the parts from other songs. One song is for explaining that character. The lyrics are written by Gireesh putancheri. And I think there is no other words to tell about his lyrics and music is done by M Jayachandran. Both M Jayachandran and Gireesh putancheri’s works were always hit.

What are your future projects?

My upcoming movies are In Ghost House Inn, Alexander the Great, etc
